RECRUITMENT OF ENGLISH & GUJARATI STENOGRAPHERS (GRADE – I &

II) AND ASSISTANTS (JUNIOR CLERKS) IN THE SUBORDINATE

COURTS OF THE STATE OF GUJARAT

Last date for submitting On-line application-20/03/2012 23.59.00 HRS.

The High Court of Gujarat invites 'On-line Applications', from the eligible candidates, for filling up vacancies (existing and future), by Competitive Examination, in the following different posts/cadres of the Administrative Staff on the establishment of the Subordinate Courts of the State of Gujarat.

1 English Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II) 58 posts, age 18-35

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognizedas such by the Government.Speed in English Short Hand 120 w.p.m. andpreferably possessing the Certificate of passing GCC Examination.Speed in English Typing 40 w.p.m. or equivalent key depressions.Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is essential as per Government Resolution dated13/08/2008.

2 English Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III) 123 posts age 18-35

Qualification:Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognizedas such by the Government.Speed in English Short Hand 100 w.p.m. andpreferably possessing the Certificate of passing GCC Examination.Speed in English Typing 40 w.p.m. or equivalent key depressions.Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is essential as per Government Resolution dated13/08/2008.

3 Gujarati Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II) 64 posts age 18-35

Qualification:Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognizedas such by the Government.Speed in  Gujrati  Short Hand 90 w.p.m. andpreferably possessing the Certificate of passing GCC Examination.Speed in  Gujrati Typing 25 w.p.m. or equivalent key depressions.Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is essential as per Government Resolution dated13/08/2008.

4 Gujarati Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III) 78 posts age 18-35

Qualification:Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognizedas such by the Government.Speed in Gujrati Short Hand 75 w.p.m. andpreferably possessing the Certificate of passing GCC Examination.Speed in  Gujrati Typing 25 w.p.m. or equivalent key depressions.Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is essential as per Government Resolution dated13/08/2008.

5 Assistant (Junior Clerk) (Class – III) 2084 posts age 18-25

Qualification:S.S.C. Or its equivalent examination recognized as 

such by thegovernment. 

Speed in English Typing 30 w.p.m. or equivalent 

key depressions and preferably possessing the 

Certificate of passing GCC Examination . OR 

Speed in Gujarati Typing 25 w.p.m. or equivalent 

key depressions and preferably possessing the 

Certificate of passing GCC Examination. 

Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is 

essential as per Government Resolution dated 

13/08/2008.

Pay-scales :
1. English Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II) Rs.9,300-34,800 Rs.4600/-
2. English Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III) Rs.9,300-34,800 Rs.4400/-
3. Gujarati Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II) Rs.9,300-34,800 Rs.4600/-
4. Gujarati Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III) Rs.9,300-34,800 Rs.4400/-
5. Assistant (Junior Clerk) (Class-III) Rs.5,200-20,200 Rs.1900/-
