1) Name of the Post: Sub-Inspector (Pioneer)
No. of Posts: 29 Posts (Gen – 16; OBC – 07; SC – 04; ST – 02)
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300 – 34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years. Relaxation of Upper Age Limit as per existing Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
2) Name of the Post: Head Constable (Workshop)

No. of Posts: 186 Posts (Gen – 88; OBC – 56; SC – 27; ST – 15)
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200 – 20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- Per Month
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years. Relaxation of Upper Age Limit as per existing Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a) Passed Matriculation from a recognized Board or Equivalent.b) Passed the Diploma in Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering or Two year certificate course in Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering from a Government recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or Equivalent.c) Must possess valid Driving License for Heavy Vehicle.
Experience: 2 years experience in an authorized garage or workshop.
Application Fee: The candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay Rs. 50/- as application fee in the form of Bank Draft and No fee for SC/ST/ Ex-servicemen/PH Candidates. The Bank Draft should be prepared in favour of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ SSB, Patna, (Bihar) payable at SBI Patna.
