INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE/INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2012

Online Applications are invited for the recruitment of Grade IV of the services by UPSC and the details according to posts are below:

• Indian Economic Service: 31 posts
• Indian Statistical Service: 29 posts
• Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Econometrics and a candidate for the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics.
• Age Limit: Min 21 years and Max 30 years.

Registration Fee: Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
